Timely win for My Elixa on 4ASD Kids Charity Raceday
10-Sep-2011

My Elixa’s win at the Gold Coast today in the 4 ASD Kids Handicap was a delightful result for part owner Keith Ferrel.

Aside from being a major supporter of our stable, Keith is also right behind the 4 ASD charity operated by former high profile rugby league player Matt Rodgers and model wife Chloe Maxwell.

4 ASD Kids is a not for profit organisation dedicated to supporting children and their families with autism spectrum disorders.

Matt Rogers and Chloe Maxwell were on hand to witness My Elixa’s win on their inaugural 4 ASD Kids charity raceday which was organised by Andy Payne and the team at Limetree Events from Sanctuary Cove.

A large crowd enjoyed all the raceday festivities in The Dome, including a charity auction highlighted by a 5% share in an Ad Valorem colt donated by Ontrack Thoroughbreds and Trevor Bailey Racing Stables.

The share sold for $4,000 with proceeds going to the 4 ASD Kids charity.

Trevor Bailey Racing Stables and Ontrack Thoroughbreds looks forward to be again being involved in next years 4 ASD Kids Charity Raceday.

My Elixa was well ridden by promising young Gold Coast apprentice Patrick Keane who brought up a winning double having scored earlier in the day aboard Wacheem.

Now the winner of 6 races from 13 starts, My Elixa is now likely to head back to Brisbane Saturday grade in search of richer metropolitan prizemoney.
